Welcome to my website!

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Accounting at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, and am on the 2026–2027 job market. Prior to joining Carlson, I earned an M.S. in Accounting from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and a B.A. in Accounting from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. I also gained industry experience at Guotai Junan Securities and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

My research examines the unintended consequences of regulatory changes in various contexts, such as accounting standards, securities regulation, and banking. I am broadly interested in how external regulatory forces and individual incentives shape the behavior of capital market participants, with a focus on information production and professional performance, especially among financial analysts.

My teaching interests include financial accounting, accounting data analytics, and managerial accounting. At the University of Minnesota, I independently taught Introduction to Financial Reporting and received the Ph.D. Excellence in Teaching Award.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing pickleball and badminton with friends, traveling, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, cooking, and singing.
